There’s a lot more to affiliate marketing than just posting Google AdSense or Amazon ads on your website. In some cases, you don’t even need a website or blog to get started-sales pages, for example, can be created and stand on their own. Facebook and Twitter ads can be designed to go straight to an existing third party affiliate page.

And now, here are 10 ways you can expand on your affiliate marketing strategies and make some additional money fast.

1. Launch your own cash back mall.

2. Write classifieds ads.

You can make this approach less spammy by creating thoughtful and useful content that leads into your offers. You should also segment your list as early as possible so that only audience members who are likely to be interested in specific products actually receive your affiliate content. Finally, in the spirit of business transparency, you should state that there are affiliate links included in your emails.

7. Embed the link in an infographic.

If you are adept at creating infographics, you may use that as your “landing page,” complete with embedded affiliate links that direct readers to your promoted products. These infographics could also serve the dual purpose of accumulating subscriber emails if you make them a part of your gated content (i.e., content that requires information, such as an email address, to access).

8. Provide a free service- with a request.

Some advertisers provide services, ebooks and other goodies, and simply ask their audience to support their free services by shopping at a given retailer using their affiliate link. 9. Collaborate with fellow marketers.

10. Offer your own discount.

Why not offer your buyers a special discount from those products by reducing your own commission? You can promote this discount in an email newletter or on a dedicated sales page. The setup can be very simple too- for example, your buyers could simply show you their purchase order to get a 15% cash discount sent through their Paypal account.

Bonus: Create a viral product.

Consider creating a free product such as an e-book, online course or podcast that provides loads of valuable content for your intended audience.
