  7. Hello all,
    So I have received many similar emails to the one I’m posting, this one is from Donna Jensen , the name may sound familiar as its the name of a actress. All previous emails I have received are all from people that have names that when searched first thing to be found is a performer usually a actor or actress. All the sending email address do not match with the names and all come from eircom.net. Eircom is a Ireland based ISP company. I have been in the IT business for a long time so it was obvious to me that this thing had red flags all over it. I am posting here cause I hate to see people fall for the scams that to me are so obvious, like one poster said if it looks to good to be true, IT IS, don’t be a pawn.

    not allow you to get unverified payment into your account. Your bank will verify all payments through ACH network before
    putting them into your account.

    for submitting assignment. Instruction will include amount transferred, your bonus information, information about the
    company’s client, preferable payment system and all the necessary information how to process the funds to the client.

    Second Email:

    Before we finalize the interview and the hiring arrangements, I’m sending you further details of both the training period and the full-time position.
    As I mentioned in my previous letter, your primary responsibility as Senior Supply Manager will be the establishment of stable purchasing procedures in both Europe and the USA. These procedures must take into account our ongoing negotiations with existing customers, as well as purchasing, optimization of product specifications, logistics and of course the preparation of regular reports.
    I have attached a brief description of our career opportunities.
    Maverick Supply Co. policy requires that before new employees are hired on a full-time basis, they must complete a probationary period of part-time employment.
    Basic salary during this period is $5500 per month, plus result-based commissions, which can add up to as much as $2000 per month.
    Your working week will not exceed 15 hours, during which time you will be required to make 4 purchases and 4 shipments including the completion of all related paperwork, i.e. filling out accounting forms, scanning the necessary receipts etc. As part of your on-the-job training, you will study one business case and fulfil one supply chain theory assignment per week.
    During the probationary period, one of our supervisors will provide you with a detailed inventory of all the company’s upcoming requirements and give guidance on regulatory compliance and best shipping practices.
    Probationary working hours are relatively flexible, and you won’t be required to come into the office. At this stage, everything is done from home, including all studying and training. At the end of the period you will be invited to head office where you will be encouraged to share your experiences and opinions with our top managers. Expenses for the entire trip, including flights, transfers, accommodation, meals etc., will be covered by the company. If, for any reason, you are unable to attend the meeting, don’t worry, it is not obligatory to be there in person – you can speak to our managers over our video conferencing link, with the aid of a translator if required.
    When you have successfully completed the part-time training stage of your employment, you will become a full-time International Consulting employee and will be posted to work in one of our newly opened offices.
    As a full-time employee, you are entitled to claim all expenses incurred as a result of tasks given to you by the company, and carried out by you on the company’s behalf.
    You are kindly requested to submit receipts and other relevant documentation to the accounts department no later than ten working days after the completion of each assignment.
    All orders are subject to approval by head office, whose responsibility it is to confirm all details related to the fulfillment of the contract, leaving you to concentrate on your principal task – as laid out above – of negotiating the most favourable terms for the supply and timely delivery of the goods.
    If you need any further information, or if you have any questions whatsoever, please don’t hesitate to contact me any time.

    Requirements:
    – US Citizen;
    – Fluent English (spoken and written);
    – Computer-literate (MS Office, MS Windows, Excel), Internet and e-mail skills;

  31. Contact the postal agency that you dispatched the packages through (UPS, DHL, FedEx, USPS) and see if they can help you trace the package(s). To report to the FBI, you can file a complaint with IC3.gov which is the Internet Crimes Complaint Center – they are a collaberation between the FBI and the National While Collar Crimes Center.

    Also, report to the Federal Trade Commission. You can do this by visiting http://www.ftc.gov/complaint.

    Depending on where you live, there should be a local FBI office your area. You can contact their fraud department. They may refer you to your state’s Attorney General or Consumer Protection Agency.

    Unfortunately, these job scams are often well though out and very realistic. It’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s not. For more information about scams like this — visit the FTC’s website. LOTS of info on consumer problems like this. http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/

  32. Oh no. I just did this. I sent the packages out yesterday. Oh no. Please give me all numbers to the authorities and the FBI that you called. I need to stop the delivery ASAP so I can return the products back to store.

    I can’t believe this.

  33. I filled out the application from GST, AG and got hired. I received a letter of congratulation from Melinda Woods and Mr. Peter Hodel. Melinda Wood gave ma their Wells Fergo bank account #30584425632 with a routing #122000247 to payoff $18,368.29 on my three credit cards. BIG MISTAKE. Then she told me to purchase Apple laptops and cameras with my credit cards. Melinda Woods instructed me to fax her the purchase receipts for the computers and the cameras. After she received the receipts, she emailed me shipping labels “United States Postal Service Customs Declaration and Dispatch Note–CP 72” addressed to five different individuals in Russia. Of the initial $18,368.29, I had spent $12,402.34 and the other $5,965.95 with my American Express card was still pending. Again, I received new instructions from Melinda Woods to go back to Apple Store to spend the $5,965.95 so I followed her instruction. After selecting three Apple laptops, my American Express card payment was declined that shamed me. So I called the American Express card company from the Apple store business phone to find out why they declined my purchase. It was then I found out that the Wells Fergo Bank account check was fraudulent. So American Express canceled my Gold card and my regular American Express.

    Another of my credit card Capital One, also, has reversed the payment. I lost $12,402.34 in dealing for Melinda Woods.
    I have contacted the FBI and I am also filling out a complaint with IC3.com, as recommended by the FBI agent. I have also tried to intercept the packages to Russian through the US Postal Service, but they told me to contact the Customs department in Russia. I found their email address and sent them copies of all the documents that I sent to Melina Wood. I also let them know that the goods were misrepresented in value to cheat on custom duties. I am now waiting for response. Does anyone know if they are also associated with another business called Grossgelt In Business at the same 26 Court St, Brooklyn, NY 11242. I am trying to find out the suite number for Grossgelt. The directory of the business at 26 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY 11242 did not list GST AG but when I did a search on Grossgalt I became suspicious. When I called the Grossgalt Inc. Business, the phone number defaulted to a fax line.

    Since I told Melinda Woods about my experience at the Apple store, she has not returned my calls even though she promised to check with the Wells Fergo Bank and call me back. She also stopped e-mailing me. The GST, AG has not put me in debt and messed up my credit cards.

  34. Marie,
    Did Melinda ask for your social security number yet? I think ultimately that is what they will probably try to get. This has nothing to do with $$$ directly, but stealing your identity because on their form they ask for your name, street address, phone # , and birth date. Once they get your social security #, they can generate multiple credit cards in your name and make all the purchases they want. I am waiting a response from the Switzerland Embassy as they are researching this. Peter Hodel is listed as the owner, but this could be a cover up against him too! Just remember, if it sounds good to be true than you know it is not legitimate. This company should be giving out corporate cards to their employees right from the start.

  35. I got an email just like the previous ones in this post. This one from LMV Services. A Swiss company. From Sven Becker. And yes, to check their legitimacy on moneyhouse.com. I almost went and opened a bank account for the Purchasing Manager job. Guess I better not?

  36. Also, I did not find anything other than this site that addresses this scam. Shouldn’t this be out on snopes or better business bureau? I plan to report this to BBB and Attorney General. I also wonder if this site is run by the company to know when someone is on to them?? Very skeptical at this point about anything I see online.

  37. I received a similiar email yesterday. I did fill out an application a week ago after confusing the position with another legitimate position that a recruiter called me about. The company is GST Global Trading and Sourcing AG which is a Swiss company. They send links to “check their legitimacy” which sends you to a site that shows they are a registered Swiss company. The Manager’s name is Melinda Woods and she has called and left a couple messages for me. Is there anyway to work with authorities to try and bring these companies down? I can see how a desperate person who has been looking for work for a while could get taken by these people.

  38. I have been following one of these called Fair goods Trade and Consulting. I realize that it is a scam of some sort, but I am really curious about what the scam is. They are seeking a maxxed out credit card that they can replenish for us to use to make purchases. Here is my confusion: Why a card that is maxxed out? If there is nothing left to gut, what is their angle on this? Any thoughts?

  40. I received the same email as some of the other posters on this site. They have changed the name of their company to I&O International Trading & Outsourcing Comp. But using the Identification number they supplied, the Swiss government told me the company name is I & O Trading GmbH. I hope this helps others. I would like to get this info out as far and wide as possible. Any suggestions?

  42. it is a scam–they took me for $ 1,600.00–they are illegally tapping into accounts and things are catching up with them to the best of my belief. I am sure they will return with a little different twist to the scheme. I am fighting with chase bank at the present over this cause of their handling of the situation. Be glad mr. Reed you can get out now before losing any money. They will not pay you any wages or do they have any intention of doing so.

  43. Since the initial communication regarding the position offered, and the subsequent complying with all requested requirements, including the opening of a Chase bank account, I’ve heard NOTHING from Sandra Adrian. This is after a host of calls, and emails. The only question is WHY!!!! What was/is the objective of a company to take me through the process and leave me hanging and this after I did EVERYTHING required with the commitment to bring added value to this offer.
