How it works Here’s, the basic premise of the “paid to drive” concept.Adcare™ Inc. seeks people, regular citizens and professional drivers — to go about their normal routine as they usually do, only with a big advert for “Adcare Inc.” plastered on your car.The ads are typically vinyl decals, also known as “auto wraps,” that almost seem to be painted on the vehicle, and which will cover any portion of your car’s exterior surface.

What does the company get out of this type of ad strategy? Lots of exposure and awareness.The auto wraps tend to be colorful and eye-catching and attract lots of attention. Plus, it’s a form of advertising with a captive audience,meaning people who are stuck in traffic and can’t avoid seeing the wrapped car alongside them. This program will last for 4 months and the minimum period you can participate is 1 month.

You will be compensated with a $200 (Two hundred dollars per Week),which is essentially a “rental” payment for letting our company use the space.Adcare Inc. shall provide experts that would handle the advert placing on your car.You will receive an up front payment of $200 (Two hundred dollars) in form of check for accepting to carry this advert on your car and other weekly payments will also come in the form of checks and delivered to your address weekly.

Of course there are certain requirements, if you want your application to get accepted:

* You must be 18 years old or older.
* You must be a permanent resident of U.S
* You have to have a valid driver’s license.
* You must have a good driving record with no serious violations in the last two years.
* You have to agree to drive a minimum amount of miles every month, which is usually at least 300 miles. Don’t believe that you can cheat the system and report a false mileage to get more money. The company might install a GPS unit on your automobile or check your mileage odometer for verification.

Additionally there are a few things you can do to increase your paycheck, like driving in highly populated areas, parking for many hours in a high traffic area and be willing to attend special events, like parades or sports events.

      I’m a partner in a geographically distributed firm. I actually DO cash US checks and send reports to my European partners. I can tell you right now that no REAL company will offer you this sort of job, ever – I have it because I *own a sizeable fraction of the company* and it makes more sense to run the $200 or so a year in checks and money orders (that’s gross income, and not thousands) through me and deduct my partners’ shares from the much more respectable profit distributions they send me than it does to dance around setting up proper business banking. (Honestly, it would make even more financial sense to stop accepting check payments, but I don’t like credit cards and so am willing to do a little extra work to ensure that people like me can buy our products – even though ‘people like me’ are less than 1% of our customer base by income.)

      If I were in Scotland and needed a US bank account to process US check payments faster, I would buy a plane ticket to the US (Edinburgh to SF, leaving tomorrow and returning Monday, £533; nice hotel room for the stay £690 – total cost: $1895.65 at today’s exchange rate), and open a business bank account with electronic check deposit (there’s an app for that!). That’s half the monthly salary they’re offering. Assuming bank fees are going to be around $100 a month (I haven’t checked, so I’m highballing it), that leaves $900 to spend partying in SF on the company dime. Why would any company choose to spend $48K/year (rising to $72K/year later) hiring you for what any of their execs could do more reliably for $4K/year (falling to $1200 on subsequent years) AND extract a free vacation from?

      Don’t be fooled by the fact that Steller Technology looks like a real company – scammers often pretend to be associated with real organizations. Sometimes they’ll go as far as to rent offices and hire staff to make themselves look more legit; usually they’ll just steal the name of someone who looks trustworthy. It’s not at all hard to create an identity that looks like someone important. (Want proof? As of five minutes ago *I* am VirginGalacticLtd -at- yandex.com, even though I don’t actually make spaceships for a living.)

    This is for Mark and any others who wonder”could this be real. NO legitamate company is going to have checks sent to you in your name. NO legitimate company gives you 10% just for cashing a check and forwarding the remainder, you would deposit it in an account they control. NO legitimate company would seek employees over the internet and send them money without having a face to face interview and background check. As PT Barnum said, there’s a sucker born every minute, and with the internet and a purchased email list anyone can seek out those looking for easy money (which isn’t there). With the anonymous nature of the internet, anything can be said to make it seem legit (and inviting).

    @Jennifer – it’s a scam. The money order is most likely forged; they’re hoping that you’ll deposit it in your bank and send them their share before the bank realizes that the money order is fake. It’s also possible that the scammer is using you as a cutout in a fraud scheme. You should contact your local police department and explain the situation, since the scammer may well have already framed you for fraud.

    In general: real companies don’t send job offers to random strangers through email, in my experience. This particular type of job is even dodgier. If the company were real, they could hire a *real bank* to do this sort of processing for them – and a real bank would charge a lot less than what they’re offering to you.

    In the case of RentalsTime, it’s even dodgier. There is no sane way to run a rental business if you don’t already have some agents living in the same country as the rental property – someone needs to conduct inspections and maintenance. It makes a lot more sense to have your property manager process the rental payments than to have some random stranger process them.
