Four Dollar Click Review
When it comes to making money online a lot of people out there want an easy ride: they want money for doing virtually nothing.
This has given rise to a lot of websites that suggest they will pay you good money for simple tasks.
One such website is Four Dollar Click (and its associated websites Three Dollar Click and Seven Dollar Click).
This site suggests it will pay you $4 bucks just to click a link to an advert. Is it too good to be true? Let’s find out!
What is Four Dollar Click?
The basic premise is you sign up, click some links that take you to some websites and you earn $4 for that action, but you need to pay in order to be able to withdraw. This smells of a scam!
The Earnings Claims Are Excessive
The first red flag with Four Dollar Click and its name sakes are the amount of money you earn for clicking an advert.
In this day and age no one is going to really pay you $4 bucks to just click an advert, why would they? Sure there are some competitive niches where advertisement costs are more expensive than $4 dollars but these are few and far between.
Most genuine (and I use that term loosely) sites that pay people to click links other maybe $0.01 per click, sometimes a tiny bit more, and often less than even one cent!
Plus, any experienced marketer would take one look at Four Dollar Click and realize that they are paying for people to click the adverts but those people are only clicking the adverts to get paid. The clickers are not interested in what the advert is promoting, which means that the advertising costs are in fact a waste of money.
It would be better off to pay more for a guaranteed targeted click rather than what Four Dollar Click is offering which is basically playing advertiser and clicker off of each other.
You Need to Pay to Withdraw
There have been several sites we’ve reviewed on I’ve Tried That which force people to pay to work or pay to get access to their money, just like Four Dollar Click does.
None of these sites are genuine. At no point should you be forced to pay to work or as in this case pay to withdraw money you’ve earned!
Not only that but the costs to access your own funds are quite excessive with the smallest amount being $59.99 per month, or a lump sum of $799 for lifetime access – there are higher tiers.
Apparently the more expensive options allow you to gain access to part (25% – 100%) of the earnings of anyone you refer to the site.
This might seem attractive but where does that money come from?
Think of it this way, advertisers can buy packages of adverts that equate to $0.01 per advert (or less), yet you’re meant to earn $4 per click and potentially up to an extra $4 per click depending on the package you buy.
Where does this money come from? Your guess is as good as mine!

Their Terms are Ridiculous!
Even if you pay your fee and get to the pay-out threshold (which is fairly high), good luck getting paid!
The terms for the site are incredibly loose, vague and aggressively against you.
Let me highlight a section of that for you:
Four Dollar Click reserves the right to restrict, alter, or modify fees, benefits, rules, regulations, special offers, membership terms and conditions or terminate services any time and without notice
This basically means they can change the rules of the game at the drop of a hat without telling you.
As well as that how about their inactivity clause where you can lose all of your banked earnings if you don’t login and click every 6 days?
When you read them as a whole, Four Dollar click’s terms are designed to give them as many loop holes as possible to avoid paying you. They can pretty much say you broke their terms whenever they like for whatever they like and if you break their terms you don’t get paid!
Now you might be thinking that I’m being unfair here as the site offers proof of payments. Well it does, but that proof is garbage. It’s a list of ID’s, usernames and amount paid, but it’s not proof because it could easily have been generated by code. All you need is a bunch of names and give a coder 30 minutes and you too can have a generated list of “payment proof”. Take this list with a pinch of salt as it proves nothing!
If you Google around there are a lot of dissatisfied people who have either been ignored when they request a pay-out or advised they broke the terms.
There are some positive reviews, and while I can’t prove it, I’m convinced those positive reviews are fake.
Honestly it’s not a surprise that there are so many negative views about these sites because their business model isn’t sound: there literally isn’t enough money to pay people!
The Owners are Hidden
Always be weary of a business who hides behind anonymity.
If you look, there is no business name or contact address, no phone number. There is a contact form but that doesn’t confirm it’s a legitimate business which can be held accountable.
The domain is hidden by Who Is Guard so you don’t know who owns it.
Would you trust a business you know nothing about with your money? I know I wouldn’t!
The Bottom Line
I strongly suggest you avoid Four Dollar Click and its other sites (Three and Seven Dollar Click) because they look to be scams!

There is no way that the business model can support paying people $4-$8 dollars for clicking on a link/advert, especially when their income from advertisers is on average $0.01 per advert.
Realistically these people will make money off of your efforts and then find a way not to pay you, which is made incredibly easy by their loose and unfriendly terms.
As well as that you’ll have handed over your details (and potentially your card details) to an unknown person or group of people who certainly do not have your best wishes at heart!
This is a scam, avoid it!
