In my comparison of Niche Blitzkrieg (NB) and Wealthy Affiliate University (WA), one of the analogies I used was that WA is like a mall and NB is like a specialty store within the mall.
In the comments section of that post, Paul from Work at Home Truth offered this great observation:
I thought I’d throw in my 2 cents here as I have experience with both Wealthy Affiliate and Niche Blitzkrieg.
Wealthy Affiliate is a tremendous value because of the community, tools, and amount of training provided. However, it can be overwhelming for someone just starting out.
The advantage of Niche Blitzrieg is it forces you to go through some of the most important fundamentals of running most types of online sites – including the bigger ones.
And that’s learning to do keyword research, determining if there’s money in a niche, and quickly determining how difficult (or easy) it will be to compete.
I kind of like to the think of Michael Jordan – sure there are all kinds of fancy moves he had access to – but what made him great is how good he was at the fundamentals and I remember him talking about practicing those on a regular basis.
That’s what Niche Blitzkrieg allows you to do – master the fundamentals before branching out into more complex areas, such as some of the ones introduced via Wealthy Affiliate.
What Mr. Modest doesn’t tell you is that he has years of successful affiliate marketing under his belt. He knows what he’s talking about. He was selling stuff online before it was even called affiliate marketing. He has made many thousands of $$.
If he says you need to master the fundamental skill of affiliate marketing—keyword research—then that’s what you need to do.
Why is keyword research the fundamental skill?
Because all of your success depends on it. Keyword research simply means the work you do to discover what people are searching for. Then you target those searches, those keywords, with your money-making sites.
You could suck at writing sales copy and still make money. You could have relatively low traffic numbers and still make money. But if you don’t know which keywords have good potential, you’ve lost the race before even leaving the gate.
I have been spending time lately working the Niche Blitzkrieg system and remain very impressed by its keyword research training. It shows you where and how to research keywords you might want to base profitable sites on. It also gives you a targeted number of searches; if your keywords fall in that range, you’ll know they have good potential for the NB system.
If you’re considering affiliate marketing as a way to generate some income (and you should consider it), you owe it to yourself to check out Niche Blitzkrieg today.
As always, speak up in the comments if you have specific questions, and I’ll try to answer them.
