Coming Up With an Idea

Thanks for signing up! You’re about to learn the best way to make money from home.

You’re here now because you want to learn legitimate ways of making money online.

I founded this site in 2007 and after 11 years of intense research, I’ve narrowed down the BEST way to make money online is with this one simple business.

Want to know what it is?

Well, hang on.

Before we get to that, you’ll be surprised to learn that…

You’ve been a customer to this business for YEARS without even knowing it.

If you’ve ever did a search for anything online, odds are you’ve been a customer to one of these businesses without even knowing it.

Instead of telling you what the business is. I’m going to give you a few examples and see if you can figure it out for yourself.

(And this is the real exciting part. This business is universal, can be done from anywhere in the world, and is the best way to make REAL money online.)

Let’s look at your Google search history real quick…

Remember that time you wanted a new recipe to try and you found a delicious recipe for slow cooked ribs…

…and the author mentioned what crock pot they used?

Or that time you had a New Year’s Resolution to walk more and you wanted a fitness tracking device…

… and wanted the best one money could buy?

How about that one time you were looking for the most comfortable men’s underwear?

(These are your searches! I’m not judging!)

And found an absurdly expensive, but incredibly luxurious pair?

Alright, I think men’s underwear is a good example to stop on.

There was a common theme between these examples.

  1. You were interested in finding out more information about a topic.
  2. You went to Google to do some research.
  3. Finally, you visited a website that made a recommendation on a product you could buy.

What you may not have noticed were the links to online retailers.

See where it says “$25 from Amazon” next to the underwear?

That’s called an Affiliate Link.

If you were to click that link and buy the underwear (or fitness tracker, or crockpot, or ANYTHING at all from Amazon) the author of that article would get paid.

Welcome to the World of Affiliate Marketing

You are basically selling someone else’s products or services.

In fact, you aren’t even selling.

You are just directing people where to go if they wanted to make a purchase.

Amazon will handle the selling, fulfillment, shipping, customer service, everything.

And they will pay you a percentage of the purchase as a thank you for the mention.

Affiliate Marketing is a multi-billion dollar per year business.

As an affiliate marketer, you will be creating websites (stay with me, it’s super easy), writing articles, and connecting the people that come to your site with advertisers.

I know you instantly have a ton of questions.

“What do I write about?”

“Who would visit my website?”

“How the hell do I even create a website?”

“This sounds too complicated. What’s new on Facebook?”

Just give me a few more minutes and stay off of Facebook.

I’ll have the answers to all of your questions (plus you’ll have the opportunity to ask me even more) by the end of this guide.

First I want to tell you why I think affiliate marketing is the best possible way for you to make money online.

Perk #1: It’s as close to “set it and forget it” as you can get

A lot of people are turning to the Internet to build up a passive income.

While you can’t completely ignore your business after you get it up and running, it’s as close to “set it and forget it” as you can possibly get.

I founded this website in 2007. I have articles up that are over 11 years old that are still making me money today.

This opportunity is unlike anything else online.

Perk #2: You can do this from anywhere in the world

I can, and do, work on my business from anywhere in the world.

My current home is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

However, once the winter hits, Pittsburgh isn’t exactly the best place to try and stay productive.

You know where is?

Hawaii. Specifically, Maui.

Here was my desk for the winter this past year.

I’d work early in the morning and be ready to go out and enjoy the island for the rest of the day.

Here I am with my wife Amanda, and our 9-month old son Vincent, hanging out on the beach with a sea turtle. (That’s the same beach in the background of my “desk” photo!)

And this is a picture I took on a whale tour we went on later in the day.

Why show you these pictures?

Well, for one, I am extremely proud of that whale shot. It’s probably the best picture I’ve ever taken and I never pass up an opportunity to show it off.

But, more importantly, affiliate marketing grants me the ability to set my own schedule and live the life I’ve always wanted to live.

You can run an affiliate marketing business from anywhere in the world. All you need is an Internet connection.

Perk #3: Your business works for you 24 hours a day

Websites don’t close.

It doesn’t matter if you search Google at 10 in the morning or just past midnight.

You will get the same search results, visit the same websites, and get the same information no matter the time of day.

Once you learn how to get your website listed in Google (I will cover how to do this on the next page. It’s way easier than you think!) it will be there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Perk #4: There is no limit on earnings

The number of visitors that come to your website will determine how much money you can make.

And guess what, your website will reach the global community.

There is no limit on how many people you can attract to it.

Some of the top bloggers make six, or even seven figures, per MONTH. Not per year, per MONTH.

Is this a typical amount of money to expect? No, of course not.

But it IS possible and it DOES happen.

The owner of that site didn’t set out to make over $200,000 in a month. They started their site, helped connect people to information online, and now it makes a few million per year.

(The most successful affiliate marketing site was recently purchased by The New York Times for $30,000,000. Thirty. Million. Dollars.)

It really can be that lucrative.

More realistically, affiliate marketing will likely supplement your income at first.

That’s where I was. I started making some extra money on the side then I was able to put more of a focus on my site and now it is my main source of income.

And yes, I do make over $100,000 per year running my business.

Perk #5: It’s incredibly easy to get started

Take a look at this screenshot:

It’s the website editor page of a program called WordPress.

WordPress allows you to create full websites at the click of a button.

You write the content and WordPress handles the rest.

WordPress transforms what you wrote in that box above into a fully-functional website:

If you can send an email, you are already possess the skills needed to build your own website.

And this leads me to the first hurdle most people face when starting out.

(Remember, I told you there were 2 main hurdles that stops people from getting started. I’ll address each in this guide and give you solutions to both.)

Hurdle #1: What do I create a website about?

The topic (or your “niche”) of your first website can be challenging to figure out.

I’ve found you need a combination of two things.

  1. An interest in the topic
  2. Other people to be interested in the topic as well

You don’t need an idea right now.

It’s okay if you don’t have a topic picked out right now.

This is just an overview of affiliate marketing and the processes behind it all.

To put your mind at ease, if you follow the rest of this training and follow my advice on the last page, I will show you how I personally come up with niches.

In addition to that, I will deliver to you the top 20 niches I’ve discovered for 2018.

These are niche ideas that I have personally researched.

You can choose from one of these niches, or use them to uncover niche ideas of your own.

Plus, I’ll show you the process I went through to uncover these niches, and give you access to the tools I used to conduct my research.

Okay, so by this point you know you need an idea and a website to write articles.

Let’s say you have your website up and you wrote an article.

How the hell do you get people to come visit it?

Keep reading to find out!
