How to Get People to Visit Your Website
Let’s dive right in.
The lifeblood of your website are these things called “keywords.”
These will help people (traffic) find you online.
Keywords cause a lot of hang ups for some people, but they’re actually incredibly easy to understand.
Basically, a keyword is whatever you type into Google:
See that in the search box? That’s a keyword. Even though it’s more than one word, we call the whole phrase a keyword.
Bam. Another keyword.
A little weird, but still a keyword.
Those are all examples of keywords.
The interesting thing here is that Google publishes how many times a specific keyword is searched each month.
74,000 people are trying to make money online.
22,200 people want to make the perfect smoothie.
And 1,300 people have some seriously smelly dogs.
This is all public data that you will use to sculpt your website.
You can see exactly what information people are looking for online.
You find out what people are searching for and then you write an article that covers that keyword.
Okay, but how do you make money?
Alright, 1,300 people per month want to know why their dog is smelly.
Now, if you were to write an article that helps people diagnose why their dog stinks…
…and then within the article, you offer a product recommendation (available to buy online) that will help cut down on the smell…
…you just became an affiliate marketer.
This is what affiliate marketing is.
You research keywords, find out what people are looking for online, and then you help them connect to products or services.
Doesn’t seem so hard, does it?
Affiliate marketing is a multi-billion dollar per year business and the right combination of keyword, content, and product could easily earn you $10,000 per month or more.
I know this to be true because I have articles on this site that do that for me already.

(Surprise!) Hurdle #3: What do I do with keywords once I have them?
Keywords have to be used in very specific ways to get your website to climb up in the rankings at Google.
You may have heard this term before.
It’s called “Search Engine Optimization” or SEO.
