If you haven’t been following our emails, I’m currently taking a more thorough look at one of the programs we’ve recommended in the past, Niche Blitzkrieg. To get a better understanding of what I’m trying to accomplish, you can click here and read a post explaining what I’m trying to do.
Dealing with the Technical Aspects
Niche Blitzkrieg teaches you how to create websites. Having created numerous websites before, I had a bit of advantage when it comes to this section. I wanted to stay as close to a beginner as possible. That’s why I had my girlfriend, Amanda, step in and go through the process of setting up a website.
Just as a clarifier, Amanda is not at all technical savvy. In fact, her technical knowledge doesn’t extend past “STEVE THIS ISN’T WORKING COME FIX IT.” She is the perfect contender for portraying a newbie and whenever I come across something I already know how to do, she will step in and take over for me.
Day 1 with Niche Blitzkrieg
Alright, yesterday marked my first day with Michael Brown’s Niche Blitzkrieg program. The idea behind the program is to make a number of niche-based websites, get them to rank high in Google, then take the income traffic and monetize it. First things first, you need an idea. You can’t build a website if you don’t have an idea to base it on.
Using Michael’s techniques to identify a strong niche, I set out to find a niche that was right for me. I spent the better half of the day following trends, researching keywords, and deciding on a topic that would work for me. I narrowed it down to two topics I found rather interesting. After agonizing between the two, I finally settled on which one I would do first. That’s right, first. I have the second idea stored for later and I plan on setting it up immediately following the completion of my first. After all, the idea behind the program is to build an entire network of niche websites that will draw in profits.
Armed with an idea, I found a matching domain name and stepped back from the computer. It was Amanda’s turn to take over. I gave her the domain name I wanted to use, the instruction set from Michael Brown, my credit card, and asked her to set everything up. Fifteen minutes later, she called me back into the office and opened up my brand new domain name, complete with a WordPress installation and a theme choice of her own. Truly impressive for someone who has never setup their own website before. This is the best testament as to how easy Michael’s directions are to follow.
Today, I’ve been working on the content for the website. I plan to write a few articles to submit to article directories to draw traffic. If all goes well, I should have my first site completely launched and ready to be indexed by Monday morning. I plan on starting my second site as soon as this one is up and running.
Each update will include my earnings report. I’ll tell you what I spent money on and how much I’m bringing in. Once I start making some money, I’ll be sure to include screenshots to show you that I’m not simply pulling these numbers out of thin air. Hopefully I’ll be able to change the color of the overall column to green rather soon.
Expenses: -$8.95 – for 1 domain name
That’s it for this update. Stay tuned as I’ll have another one shortly. In the meantime, you could join Niche Blitzkrieg yourself and get started on building your niche website network today.
