If you love Amazon just as I do, I’m sure you’ve heard about other people getting Amazon gift card survey crazy as well. However, if you brushed it off as a fad (or a scam), I’d understand why you’d think so. This kind of gig just sounds too good to be true, right?
If you haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet, it’s time you dig deeper into the world of answering surveys for Amazon gift cards because they’re actually LEGITIMATE.
Imagine answering surveys during your free time and being able to get a gift for yourself each month to add to your toy collection, bookshelves, garden, kitchen, and so on.
But before you jump into a dozen survey sites below, I’m just going to give you a bit of an introduction.
How Does an Amazon Gift Card Survey Work?
Depending on the platform you choose, available surveys are shown on your dashboard. Sometimes, you will get a notification (or other times emails) letting you know that new surveys fit your profile and you could answer them if you wanted to.
- Most survey sites do not obligate members to answer all surveys sent. However, there might be a minimum number of surveys you’d need to answer within a month or a year to continue your membership.
- Some survey sites also include other tasks like playing games, watching videos, scanning receipts, and more.
- Many survey sites use points, while others have their own currencies (such as Swagbucks). Every site has a minimum payout amount, so better check this info so you can expect when to redeem your “rewards.”
- Points can be converted by all kinds of gift cards, but Amazon gift cards are one of the most popular payout methods.
Survey sites have all the money to give away to users like you and me because market research companies use our survey answers to determine what consumers want/need, or to get feedback directly from consumers about a particular product or service.
20 Survey Sites that Pay Amazon Gift Cards
1. Swagbucks
- Minimum payout: $3 (this is the amount you need to earn to redeem for an Amazon gift card or other payout methods).

2. Survey Junkie
- Minimum payout: $10 worth of points
As one of the older survey sites around (this has been around since 2005), Survey Junkie is one of the most recommended sites available.
Each survey only takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete. You’ll earn an average of $1 per survey. It won’t make you rich, but it’s a good task to do when you’re stuck in traffic. Its phone app lets you do the tasks even while on the go, so win-win!
If you don’t like to redeem your points with an Amazon gift card, there’s also a Paypal cashout option.

The downside of MyPoints is that many surveys lead you to third-party sites when you decide to answer them. The upside, however, is that this survey site allows 13-year-olds (a rare occurrence in the world of surveys since most require members to be at least 18 years old).

However, PrizeRebel makes up for this by having one of the most options when it comes to payouts: aside from the Visa gift card and Amazon gift card, you have over 500 different gift cards to choose from.

Warning: Amazon Gift Card Survey Scams Exist
While it is true that you can earn from Amazon Gift Card Survey sites, you must also be wary about scams. Amazon even lists down different kinds of scams users report to them (you can read all about them here with a description of how each scam goes).
You can also earn Amazon gift cards from the retail giant itself. You just need to participate in Amazon’s programs such as Mechanical Turk, where you can do data entry and other easy tasks to earn Amazon gift cards.
Of course, these survey sites and mTurk cannot replace traditional salaries, but they’re awesome ways to earn some extra cash that you wouldn’t have earned if you were just spending your online time browsing your socials or watching YouTube.
