20 Legit Amazon Gift Card Survey Sites

If you love Amazon just as I do, I’m sure you’ve heard about other people getting Amazon gift card survey crazy as well. However, if you brushed it off as a fad (or a scam), I’d understand why you’d think so. This kind of gig just sounds too good to be true, right?

If you haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet, it’s time you dig deeper into the world of answering surveys for Amazon gift cards because they’re actually LEGITIMATE.

Imagine answering surveys during your free time and being able to get a gift for yourself each month to add to your toy collection, bookshelves, garden, kitchen, and so on.

But before you jump into a dozen survey sites below, I’m just going to give you a bit of an introduction.

How Does an Amazon Gift Card Survey Work?

Depending on the platform you choose, available surveys are shown on your dashboard. Sometimes, you will get a notification (or other times emails) letting you know that new surveys fit your profile and you could answer them if you wanted to.

  • Most survey sites do not obligate members to answer all surveys sent. However, there might be a minimum number of surveys you’d need to answer within a month or a year to continue your membership.
  • Some survey sites also include other tasks like playing games, watching videos, scanning receipts, and more.
  • Many survey sites use points, while others have their own currencies (such as Swagbucks). Every site has a minimum payout amount, so better check this info so you can expect when to redeem your “rewards.”
  • Points can be converted by all kinds of gift cards, but Amazon gift cards are one of the most popular payout methods.

Survey sites have all the money to give away to users like you and me because market research companies use our survey answers to determine what consumers want/need, or to get feedback directly from consumers about a particular product or service.

20 Survey Sites that Pay Amazon Gift Cards

1. Swagbucks

  • Minimum payout: $3 (this is the amount you need to earn to redeem for an Amazon gift card or other payout methods).

Launched in 2008, this California-based company is a rewards program that “pays” you to complete microtasks like answering surveys, playing games, shopping, testing products, searching online, watching videos, and more.

2. Survey Junkie

  • Minimum payout: $10 worth of points

As one of the older survey sites around (this has been around since 2005), Survey Junkie is one of the most recommended sites available.

Each survey only takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete. You’ll earn an average of $1 per survey. It won’t make you rich, but it’s a good task to do when you’re stuck in traffic. Its phone app lets you do the tasks even while on the go, so win-win!

If you don’t like to redeem your points with an Amazon gift card, there’s also a Paypal cashout option.

3. Inbox Dollars

The surveys, which take about 3 to 25 minutes, can earn you somewhere between 50 cents and 5 bucks. For rare, demographic-specific surveys, this amount could be as high as $20/survey.

Inbox Dollars isn’t exclusive to surveys. You can also earn rewards from watching movie trailers, shopping online, playing online games, and performing other tasks.

Simply joining gets you a $5 welcome bonus. Referrals get you $5 as well.

4. MyPoints

  • Minimum payout: Earn your first $20 and get a $10 Amazon gift card for free

MyPoints was launched by Prodege LLC (the same company that brought us SwagBucks and Inbox Dollars).  You earn points when you share your opinion by completing online surveys about their partners like Walmart, eBay, and Amazon, and other retailers.

The downside of MyPoints is that many surveys lead you to third-party sites when you decide to answer them. The upside, however, is that this survey site allows 13-year-olds (a rare occurrence in the world of surveys since most require members to be at least 18 years old).

5. Opinion Outpost

  • Minimum payout: $5 for gift cards (or 50 points)

Owned by global sampling and survey company Dynata, Opinion Outpost has been around for over a decade. It is known for donating $10,000/month to the American Red Cross, so if you’re looking to help, here’s a win-win way to do so while earning some “cash.”

However, PrizeRebel makes up for this by having one of the most options when it comes to payouts: aside from the Visa gift card and Amazon gift card, you have over 500 different gift cards to choose from.

7. LifePoints

MySurvey and Lightspeed (two separate global market research companies) partnered up to create LifePoints in 2019.  It focuses on mini-polls, product test reviews, and customer feedback.

Operated by market research company The Nielsen Company, Pinecone Research is one of the most trusted survey sites in the industry.

For each survey taken, Pinecone Research awards its members a minimum of 300 points (this is equal to $3), which means in just a single 10 to 20-minute survey, you’d be able to request payout immediately.

Aside from bank transfers and prepaid virtual debit cards, your rewards can be redeemed as Amazon e-card (sent to your email) or other electronic gift cards.

13. YouGov

YouGov is available internationally (mostly in English-speaking countries). It is a reputable site that asks people about movies, brands, politics, and current events.

I love that YouGov notifies you whenever new surveys are available and since it has an app, you can complete the survey regardless of your location.

18. Branded Surveys

  • Minimum payout: $10 (1000 points)

Branded Surveys have high-quality surveys with premium payouts. Most members can easily reach the minimum payout amount of $10 in less than a week.

Just by simply joining the site you’ll get your first 100 points free. Referring other people to join iRazoo also gets you additional points.

Warning: Amazon Gift Card Survey Scams Exist

While it is true that you can earn from Amazon Gift Card Survey sites, you must also be wary about scams. Amazon even lists down different kinds of scams users report to them (you can read all about them here with a description of how each scam goes).

You can also earn Amazon gift cards from the retail giant itself. You just need to participate in Amazon’s programs such as Mechanical Turk, where you can do data entry and other easy tasks to earn Amazon gift cards.

Of course, these survey sites and mTurk cannot replace traditional salaries, but they’re awesome ways to earn some extra cash that you wouldn’t have earned if you were just spending your online time browsing your socials or watching YouTube.
